Not Sure what to tell you all about these two!
The male was produced here and the female was produced by Rico Walder at Signal Herp. Both animals are 50% Mutt and 50% biak. Personally I am very excite to be seeing these two locking up and given their appearance and that both my Biak OC clutch and Rico's Tiger stripe clutch produced a sick number of stellar offspring! I am sure if these two produce babies they will be one of a kind an would be a GREAT addition to any one collection or breeding group.
Estimated prices for babies= $3,000 to $6,000 based on appearance
7/19/09: These two have been paired for several weeks and I am rotating the male back the the Golden Sky female that can be found here. These two have locked up over six times and I am just happy to see they are getting along. I will post more info as it is available!
8/2/09: Still breeding and the female is no longer hunting for food.
8/23/09: The female is looking like she is developing follicles and the male seems to be done with her. She is refusing food and basking on occasions.
9/4/09: I found the female ovulating at or around 6:15 pm, I am completely stoked to see if this pairing gives me fertile eggs.
9/10/09: Unfortunately this incredible female passed away today, from a ruptured ovary and ruptured ova. She will be greatly miss and below are photos of her necropsy. Unfortunately this is one of the many risks involved with breeding these animals.
