Pairing #14

This will be an interesting pairing, the female carries some of the most desired founding designer blood, and the male is an F1 Highland from two outstanding Farmed imports. Given the females past track record for great offspring and the potential the male should bring to the pairing my gut tells me these should be some great animals if eggs are produced. So if Zulich blue blood, Zoo linage that spans decades and Highland blood are what does it for you keep checking back on this pairing.

8/29/09: The female had been showing signs of follicle development for the last couple weeks so today I decided to pair these two up. The courtship and lock up where all most instantaneous and the pair seem inseparable.

9/19/09: Breeding has slowed a bit and the female seems to be full of follicles, only time will tell but this pairing is going VERY well!

9/28/09: The male is guarding the female but I have not notes any lockups in three or four days. The female is looking big!

10/19/09: It looks like ovulation is just around the corner stay tuned!

10/21/09: This girl ovulated today! There is a pic of her ovulation below.

11/7/09: This girl is entering her prelay shed cycle.

11/15/09: This girl shed out today so I am thinking the eggs should be laid in the first week of December!
