Pairing #21

This is a great Blueline pairing, the female 0404 has some offspring from 2009 that are showing some GREAT potential for blue and black coloration.She was paired to another 50% MB/Caro male in 2009, and I am interested to see what she produces when paired. Too 0610 which is also a 50% MB/Caro blood critter. This should be a very nice bunch of babies if I am lucky enough to hatch any eggs given to me by these two animals.

3/20/10: These two where introduced in the evening, I witnessed some courtship and the pair where perched together this morning.

4/3/10: I have separated these two for feeding and will re intro soon.

10/24/10: I have been really busy with a caging project and so on so I have really been slacking on up dating this page with current info. Anyway the female ovulated and is post pre lay shed. Pics of the animals breeding, the females ovulation, and her post shed glow have been added below. The female completed her shed cycle on 10/16 so egg deposition is right around the corner.

11/5/10: Egg deposition was today, and there are lots pf great looking eggs in the cooker. So only time will tell.

11/21/10: I lost the two blood ring eggs and the slug/egg that was adheared together. Which leaves 20 eggs still cooking, with a projected hatch date of X mass day!

12/25/10: I went ahead and pipped the eggs this morning, and it looks like 17 of the remaining eggs have live babies. Some of the animals seem to be lightly pigmented so we'll have to wait and see what comes about.

1/1/11: Thirteen of the babies are in tubs and I lack the words to describe some of them.

1/9/11: A good portion of the clutch has shed out and I will be getting started with feeding trials in the next couple days.

1/22/11: I have all but one baby feeding and snapped some pics of them this afternoon.
